Day 1 - Delhi

Soon after your arrival in Delhi, you will assemble at the Safdarjung Railway Station. From here the Golden Triangle itinerary aboard the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels waits to begin. A traditional welcome later, precisely at about 16:00 hours, the train will begin to chug its way out of the station. The first destination in the circuit that you will head towards is Jaipur.

Dinner and overnight stay aboard the train.

Day 2 - Jaipur

By 04:00 hours the train will reach at Jaipur - the capital city of Rajasthan. Enjoy a lavish breakfast aboard the luxury train before you embark on sightseeing tours across the city. Attractions that you will visit on this day include monuments such as Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and the City Palace.

Post- lunch visit the gloomy grandeur of Amer Fort that is located at a distance of about 15 km from Jaipur. The thrilling elephant ride till the gates of the fort will make the visit all the more special for you.

A grand dinner will be organized for the guests of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels at the Jai Mahal Palace. Do not miss to relish on the lip smacking delicacies besides also the regal ambiance. Do not also miss to pick up souvenirs from the city markets before you return to the train (post dinner).

As the night progresses, the train will travel towards Bharatpur.

Day 3 - Bharatpur/ Agra

By 05:00 hours the train will halt at the Bharatpur railway station. Guests will disembark and proceed towards the wildlife environs. Early morning time is perhaps one of the best periods in the day to catch the wild animals live in action, in their very natural habitat. Relish on the locally prepared breakfast amidst the very ambiance of the forest lodge housed here.

Once you have returned from this extended wildlife viewing trip, embark on the luxury train towards the next destination - Agra, a historical Indian city. On the way, guests can also visit the attractions of yet another historical town - Fatehpur Sikri. One can get a fantastic glimpse of the Mughal era through monuments such as Buland Darwaza and the Panch Mahal etc.

Later, you will arrive in Agra where on the 3rd day of the trip you can visit the local markets in the evening after having explored the beauty of the Taj Mahal complex. Besides the Taj Mahal you will also visit the Agra Fort.

Return back to the train for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 - Delhi

Arrive in New Delhi in the wee hours of the morning by 04:00 hours and thereby mark an end to the exciting sojourn aboard the luxury train. Post-breakfast guests can checkout and resume their journey back home or stay back in Delhi to explore other sightseeing tours.
